Responsibilities
- Set the overall creative direction and messaging for our work with partners, and ensure that all the copy we deliver meets a high standard;
- Plan, edit and occasionally draft copy for emails, Facebook ads, signup and fundraising pages, and digital engagement tools;
- Provide clear constructive feedback on copy written by our Digital Creatives and freelance copywriters;
- Facilitate brainstorms and creative sessions, and come up with concepts for fundraisers, fundraising campaigns, engagement tools and other tactics;
- Line manage our Digital Creatives, overseeing their workload and supporting their professional development;
- Share creative recommendations with our partners and train them in copywriting and email best practice
- Manage creative capacity, ensuring that concepts, copy and other deliverables are produced on time and to a high standard
- Oversee the design process for new webpages, including planning users journeys, providing designers with briefs, and feeding back on designs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Design or Copywriting, with an agency or client side background in high growth categories, experience in Tech is preferred
- Experience in a Start-up environment would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional stakeholders inside and outside an organisation e.g. third party agencies
- An inspiring portfolio of multi-channel work backed up by results of creative effectiveness in market that has led to strong brand growth
- Strong people management skills, with proven experience building and leading a multi-disciplinary creative team and coaching junior team members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present creative ideas clearly and concisely to a range of senior stakeholders
- Cultural sensitivity when working on global brands, demonstrating understanding of how to localise a global brand to suit regional customer nuances
- Solid experience in digital channels and mobile-first creative - demonstrating knowledge of creative best practices and technologies to drive high CTRs and low CPA
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high standards of QA across all creative assets and team output
