The Challenge

Key to Food, the leading healthy meal prep service in the UK, approached Trendt for help with gaining more exposure. They wanted to increase their social media following, breed a meaningful rapport with influencers (to grow their tribe), and attain more user generated content. They also asked us to identify relevant collaborations that would enable Key to Food to reach out to new audiences.

Our Solution

It didn't take long to see that the healthy meal prep platform needed a makeover. We created a healthy food branding strategy — from design inspiration to tone of voice and copy, giving the Key to Food a modern and vibrant look. Our food brand development process resulted in several strong brand recognition tools, along with a marketing strategy and actionable marketing plan to deliver a strong and unified message to its existing and potential suppliers and client base. Through social media campaigns, engaging adverts, and the updated website we created a lot of excitement within the existing community – with raising numbers of orders from customers. The only problem was keeping production up with demand!

We’ve boosted their online reach with creative campaigns and partnerships with brands throughout London, making Key to Food a destination for foodies.

Influencer Marketing

We harnessed the power of influencer marketing, targeting a social-media-savvy demographic with the Two-day Taster Package. Our network of more than 10k London-based influencers served as a treasure trove of exposure, engaging people and supporting The Key to Food campaign.

Web Development

The redesigned Key to Food website has a fresh look that's bursting with tasty images. With fast performance and a new booking system, the site can accommodate more hungry customers than ever before. We also got input from the brand about how we could improve the customer's experience.


Our creativity spawned over 200 paid advertising creative assets. When our ads began running on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, Key to Food's impressions increased by 86%, click-through rate by 75%, and new clients and fans came flocking.
